A tea party with the theme of "Celebrating Teachers' Day, Welcome New Students, Appreciating the Full Moon"

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, to review the glorious history of the growth and growth of New China, to carry out the theme education of “Don’t forget the original heart and remember the mission” and the activities of “Promote the spirit of patriotic struggle and make contributions to a new era” to express our school’s teachers and students’ love for the motherland, the school party committee decided to launch the "Celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" theme party day event in September 2019. In order to actively respond to the call of the school, the party branch directly under the Institute of Space Science and Applied Technology organized a tea party with the theme of "welcome new students, celebrate Teacher's Day, and celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival" on the evening of September 9 to present the 70th anniversary of the motherland.

This event is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is to welcome the new students and inject fresh force into the revival of the Chinese nation; the second chapter is to celebrate the Teacher’s Day and celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, adding a beautiful touch to the patriotic education practice activities.

The first chapter, "Welcome to Freshmen", is divided into four links: academician speech, teacher speech, student sharing and postdoctoral sharing.

First of all, academician Wei Fengsi, dean of the Institute of Space Science and Applied Technology, gave key lectures and work instructions.In his speech, Academician Wei Fengsi first expressed his warm welcome to our newly enrolled freshmen; secondly, he expressed his encouragement and strong support for our theme activity; Finally, Academician Wei also took us to revisit the history of our party leading the people in the arduous struggle, and to understand our party's glorious tradition, valuable experience and great achievements. Through in-depth study and continuous comprehension, we should learn historical thinking, cultivate historical perspective, and strengthen historical responsibility. We must be an outstanding young man who truly knows the history and loves the party and the country, and strives for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation for a lifetime.

After a brief introduction of themselves and subjects, the teachers of the Institute also focused on sharing on the theme of "Promoting the Spirit of Patriotic Struggle and Making Achievements in a New Era".The teachers and the students present together relived the touching stories of Harbin Institute of Technology in cultivating talents for the country, tackling technological difficulties, and building a new China in the historical process of building a new China and reform and opening up.The teachers and the students present together relived the touching stories, learned and publicized the advanced and typical deeds of Harbin Institute of Technology who actively connected their own development with the destiny of the country and the nation, pursued the truth, climbed the peak, and served the country with science.It also advocated that all teachers and students on the scene should keep in mind the advanced deeds of Harbin Institute of Technology's "800 Heroes", inherit the glorious tradition of the ancestors of Harbin Institute of Technology, further promote the spirit of patriotic struggle, and strive to be the adults of Harbin Institute of Technology in the new era.

The third session is for freshmen to share. The freshmen had a lively sharing and discussion on the theme of "not forgetting the original intention and keeping in mind the mission". The students said: As a new generation of Harbin Institute of Technology, we shoulder a heavy sense of historical mission and responsibility of the times. Facing the glorious history of the school and facing the inspiration of the times, we can only truly take the baton of history in the future if we work hard and have strict specifications. Make more and better contributions to the society, truly help the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Shenzhen's construction of a socialist modernization pilot zone. To be a truly outstanding and qualified Harbin Institute of Technology, the future will definitely be an important task!

In the fourth session, the postdoctoral team shared. The postdoctoral team has always been the backbone of the Institute and a model and pacesetter for learning. In this sharing, the postdoctoral fellows of the Institute not only showed their latest research achievements to teachers and students. More importantly, in this theme education activity, not only did the freshmen learn the relevant field knowledge of the Institute, but also formally formed a post-doctoral mutual help "study group" at the meeting. This will greatly promote the improvement of the research level of the research institute, help to create a good academic atmosphere for the research institute, and lay a solid foundation for the country to train scientific research talents and tackle tough problems in science and technology.

The above four links, including academician speech, teacher speech, student sharing and postdoctoral sharing, were fully discussed around the two major themes of "promoting the spirit of patriotic struggle and making contributions to a new era" and "remembering the mission and not forgetting the original intention". The atmosphere of the scene was very warm. The discussants and participants actively participated in it. Through continuous in-depth study and constant understanding, they promoted the patriotism and expressed their feelings of serving the country, laying a solid mass foundation, ideological foundation and theoretical foundation for realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. I believe that through this event, the seeds of the Chinese Dream have taken root in the hearts of all the teachers and students of the Institute. Ten years of trees and a hundred years of people, the future is just around the corner!

The second chapter is celebrating Teachers’ Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, adding a beautiful touch to the patriotic education practice activities. It is mainly divided into two parts, namely talent show and the whole chorus "My Motherland and Me".

The first link is talent show. This session is mainly for students to carry out theoretical and practical activities to enhance patriotism and enhance the party spirit of party members through various forms such as dance, recitation, singing, musical instrument performance, magic and "micro-video".The students used practical actions to continuously innovate the form, enrich the carrier, reflect the characteristics, and enhance the attractiveness of the activity, which greatly increased the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of all party members and teachers and students to participate in the activity. After each wonderful performance, there was continuous applause on the spot, and the students' hard work also won the house. The atmosphere was very enthusiastic and received unanimous praise from the teachers and students present.

In the second session, the entire chorus sang "My Motherland and Me". At the end of the event, all the teachers and students sang this impassioned red song together. All the teachers and students sang loudly and vigorously, "My dear motherland and I cannot be separated for a moment. No matter where I go, there will be a hymn... ····". This song uses a combination of lyrical and passionate style, combining beautiful and moving melody with simple and sincere lyrics, expressing the sincere attachment and sincere praise of all teachers and students to the great motherland.

Waves of shocking songs lingered in every air of the institute, and the theme education activity also came to a close with the sweet singing of "My Motherland and Me".
