He said that Feng Xueshang will serve as the director of the Space Weather Storm Laboratory under the Academy of Space Science and Applied Technology on campus, hoping that he will continue to improve the accuracy of digital forecasts on space weather in my country and reach the world's advanced level. Feng Xueshang introduced the background, positioning, development plan and main tasks of the space weather storm laboratory. He stated that the purpose of the establishment of the laboratory is to continuously improve space cognition, reduce and avoid space weather disasters caused by space storms, provide an advanced scientific cognition basis, establish a space weather forecast system, and ensure human space exploration, development and utilization.
